The Prim Janský Pulsometer Chronograph bears the name of the Czech physician who described and was the first to correctly classify the four basic blood groups in 1907. A discovery that made safe blood transfusions possible and remains behind every single donation to this day.

Pulsometer Scale

The scale on the dial allows you to estimate your heart rate and is one of the oldest functions a watch could offer. It was created for doctors at a time when measuring the pulse meant a watch, a finger and stillness.

The procedure is simple. Press the chronograph button, count fifteen heartbeats and stop the chronograph. The main hand will indicate your heart rate on the scale.

The same chronograph can also be used as a classic stopwatch with quarter-second precision and a range of up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

Movement

The model is powered by the Japanese Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph movement. Quarter-second measurement means that the chronograph's main hand moves more smoothly than is usual with quartz movements, resembling the motion of mechanical movements.

Design

The model is based on classic design principles. Clean forms, balanced proportions and a restrained approach to detail. An aesthetic that works just as well today as it will ten years from now.

The case is made of 316L stainless steel, with a classic crown. The double-domed sapphire crystal has anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coatings. The brushed leather strap is colour-matched to the dial in each version so that the whole design feels cohesive.

Ten versions, two sizes.

The model is available in ten colour versions and two case sizes, 42 mm and 39 mm. The smaller size is suitable for slimmer wrists, regardless of who wears the watch.

Forged Case Back

The case back, featuring a blood drop symbol and a metal plate, creates space for personal engraving.

The watch can therefore carry your blood group. You can add it through our personalization service.
