PRIM presents its new PRIM Tourbillon Bedřich Smetana watch model, a unique limited edition that pays tribute to one of the most important Czech composers, Bedřich Smetana. This exceptional watch was created on the occasion of the significant anniversary of Smetana's birth and celebrates his contribution to Czech music and culture. This model combines timeless elegance, precise watchmaking and luxurious details, making it not only a unique timepiece, but also a valuable collector's item.

2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bedřich Smetana, whose artistic legacy is one of the pillars of Czech cultural heritage. Smetana significantly co-shaped the awareness of the Czech national identity and contributed to the formation of the idea of ​​an independent Czech state leading to the creation of Czechoslovakia. Through his work and other diverse activities, he participated in the development of Czech culture, which was an important part of the national emancipation process.

The limited edition has a total of 50 pieces, 25 of which are additionally equipped with an 18-carat gold bezel weighing approximately 12 grams. The watch is designed with the precision that is characteristic of the PRIM brand and provide each owner with not only beauty, but also exceptional technical performance.

A total of 5 colour variants have the following dial elements in common. We created the numbers in a font typical for that time.

Everything is completed by a tulip crown designed by the company's designers, with a 4-millimeter precious stone on its top. The chosen gemstone, whether diamond, ruby ​​or sapphire, completes the entire design of the watch.

A window at position 6 allows you to watch the workings of the Seagull TY8230 caliber from the TY8 series, which offers a total of 14 movements and designs, including those with automatic winding or retrograde time display. The movement used has a manual winding of up to 50 hours and a frequency of 21,600/h. As a manufacturer of PRIM watches, we again chose the tourbillon, which is already symbolic for our company. We hereby bow to all the significant achievements of the inventor of this royal complication, Abraham-Louis Breguet, who patented his "windstorm" 223 years ago (in 1801). A complication that protects the hair of the movement from the earth's magnetism and positional error.
